Long Acoustic Tubes

The Long Acoustic Tubes allow the AXIS to be worn on your neck for maximum comfort. This may be useful for the following situations:

• Passengers who do not need to talk
• Long flights with minimal communication requirements
• Commuting pilots who want to use the AXIS to listen to their audio device without having a microphone positioned in front of the mouth

 
The length is 200 mm (7.87 inches), instead of the standard length of 110 mm (4.33 inches).

This Long Acoustic Tube product is intended as an add-on for owners of the standard AXIS who wish to wear the headset on the neck.

The Long Mic Variant of the AXIS already comes with a pair of these tubes by default (as the longer microphone boom better facilitates communication while wearing the headset on the neck).

Each tube includes an acoustic damper for optimal sound quality. The ear tips must be attached to the side of the tube which is closest to the damper.
